PVC or polyvinyl chloride decking is 100% plastic, meaning it requires no staining or sealing and is highly moisture and UV-resistant. It is the most expensive option for decking but is nearly maintenance-free. Compared to wood or composite, it can get hot in direct sun and may not blend into natural landscapes as well.
